Project background

Transylvania Bloom is a strategic initiative aimed at positioning Székelyföld (Szeklerland) as a premier tourism destination in the Carpathian Basin. It fosters collaboration across sectors—academia, business, government, and civil society—to develop a unified tourism strategy that drives economic growth, job creation, and cultural sustainability. Through annual conferences and workshops, Transylvania Bloom facilitates knowledge sharing and builds a supportive network dedicated to sustainable tourism and community resilience in the region. My goal and responsibility was to create a timeless and reusable design for the years and conferences to come.

My role

Graphic designer

The problem

The challenge was the timeframe, because I had a very short time to create the identity design, including all the elements. I also had to calculate the printing time, which made the whole process even more difficult. Sometimes the communication also had problems, since we only communicated via e-mail, which is not the most user friendly and fastest way to do this.

The goal

My goal was creating a timeless and reusable identity design or brand, if you like it. The design had to be consistent, connected and catchy for the target audience, also we wanted to add hidden meanings to some of the elements. We also considered where to place the text on roll-ups for example taking into consideration the placements of those in the day of the conference.
